Slack integration Beta

Techbase Bridge

Continue a local Codex conversation from a Slack thread.

A thread connected to your local workspace.

Techbase Bridge is a small, self-hosted connection between Slack and Codex CLI. It is useful when Slack is where you want to ask about ongoing work, while Codex continues to operate in a workspace you control.

The operator chooses the Slack workspace, channels, permitted people and local Codex preset. Each admitted Slack thread keeps its own saved session. Requests run through a fixed working directory, and replies return to the thread.

In its interactive mode, Bridge relays approval requests and questions to Slack. The requester or a configured operator can answer; Bridge does not approve them automatically. Thread controls let you inspect status or cancel a turn.

Slack access is consequential.

Bridge keeps the configured Codex authentication and permissions. Give access only to people you trust to use that runtime. It does not provide a separate sandbox, a hosted account service or an independent development coordinator.

The public beta currently connects Codex CLI. Attachment text can be forwarded, but file contents are not. Review the current setup guide for supported transports, permissions and operating limits before running your own bridge.
