Beta feedback and installation help
In TestFlight, open A Minor Idea and choose Send Beta Feedback to send comments or a screenshot. Tell me whether it was useful, where you got stuck and whether you would use it again. Apple’s TestFlight testing and privacy information explains installation, expiring builds and feedback. For direct help, use support@techba.se.
TestFlight feedback and Apple’s automatically collected beta diagnostics are separate from the optional transcription report described below.
If recording does not start
Open iOS Settings, find A Minor Idea, and check that Microphone access is enabled. If you were using an external audio interface, reconnect it and try recording again.
If the transcription needs work
Open the idea and choose More → Refine recording. Auto-trim and Articulated attacks are useful starting points. Tap a note and use Note to adjust its pitch, position, duration, or velocity. Tempo changes the beat grid without moving the notes.
Listen before changing a key or scale
Guide helps you compare suggested pitches with your recording. Listen to the alternatives, then Apply or Ignore the suggestions. For a deliberate change of key or scale, choose More → Transpose → Change key or scale and listen to the preview before applying it. Your original recording remains available.
Export and keep a backup
Edits save on your device. Use Export complete project to keep recordings, notes, and track settings together. Importing that project from Ideas creates a separate copy. MIDI, MusicXML, audio mixes, and aligned stems let you continue working in other music apps.
Send optional transcription feedback
From an open idea, choose More → Idea actions → Transcription not right? Send feedback. Review the complete report before consenting and choosing a sharing destination. Nothing is sent automatically, and the report excludes your audio, idea names, exact or ordered notes, MIDI, and persistent identifiers.
You can decline feedback and keep using the app. Reports are sent through your chosen Mail or sharing destination, not Mailjet or an app feedback server. Email reveals your sender address. Read the A Minor Idea privacy policy, effective 6 October 2026, for the report contents, consent and withdrawal, and retention policy.
Contact a person
Email support@techba.se with the app version and build from About, your iPhone model and iOS version, what you expected, and what actually happened. Tell me whether the audio was recorded or imported. You do not need to send a private recording to ask for help.
To discuss a diagnostic report, withdraw consent, or request earlier deletion, email support@techba.se with its one-time Report ID. We delete the received report and accompanying email, including the sender address, when no longer needed and no later than 12 months after receipt. Dan handles mailbox and working-copy deletion manually.
The form below is an alternative for ordinary support enquiries. It routes through Mailjet to info@techba.se and is covered separately by the website privacy policy. You can always email support@techba.se directly if the form is unavailable. Ordinary support conversations are deleted within 12 months after resolution, except contract or legal needs; quoting a diagnostic report does not extend its receipt-based deadline.
